Plasterers Local 200 & SCPI were represented by our outstanding apprentice, George Paz-Mitchell. George committed to additional training to represent us in this competition. We are proud to announce that he finished 2nd overall. He competed against 8 plastering apprentices and took home a top prize. We are proud of George and his dedication to the plastering trade. Thank you for all your hard work!

WILFREDO GALDAMEZ
The SCPI Apprenticeship Program would like to recognize Wilfredo Galdamez (A6) for being Apprentice of the Week. Instructor Tony Ruiz selected Wilfredo for his willingness to participate and work ethic during his Rock Carving Training. He participated in several projects throughout the week. He demonstrated excellent skills, productivity, and outstanding quality of work. He also helped lead his team to victory in the Rock Carving Competition. Thank you for your hard work and commitment to your apprenticeship training, Wilfredo!
JAVIER ACOSTA JR.
The SCPI Apprenticeship Program would like to recognize Javier Acosta Jr. for being Apprentice of the 4th Quarter (2025). Instructor Tony Ruiz nominated him to MARSHALLTOWN's Student Award Program, which recognizes apprentices who have excelled in their "trowel trade" program. Javier was presented with a letter of commendation, certificate of merit, and trowel provided by MARSHALLTOWN at graduation. Great job, Javier!
